The Tin Whistle course uses the book & cd ' 50 Simple Tunes For The Tin Whistle ', a beautifully produced tutor-book & cd from The Armagh Pipers Club that includes a collection of some of Ireland's most cherished melodies and song tunes.
When buying a tin whistle, get one in the Key of ' D ' unless you're very young, in which case get a whistle in a key that suits your hand size. Check to make sure you can finger all the holes comfortably.
And that's about it. It's pretty simple, as you'll discover when you start to learn to play.
