Note: The waxies (candle makers) held an annual outing to the seaside town of Bray, County Wicklow, 12 miles south of Dublind, or so the story goes. I'm not sure where the word " Dargle " comes in but there is a river that runs through Rathfarnum in Dublin called the Dargle .
